Educational ecosystem: school and university

The theory and practice of foreign languages department actively contributes to the development of the educational ecosystem of our society. The daily work of the department’s faculty involves creating a dynamic network that connects university students, school pupils, teachers, and employers for continuous learning and development.
For instance, Professor G. I. Baigunisova took an active part in organizing and conducting the science, creativity, sports, and volunteerism festival of the BINOM SCHOOL community, “B-FEST.” The festival was held at BINOM School-Lyceum named after A. Bokeikhan (Astana), and teams from all BINOM schools in Astana participated. The final stage of the festival was the scientific project competition, “B-DREAM Project.” It was a competition of students’ scientific, technical, creative, and business projects across the social sciences and humanities, as well as the natural sciences and mathematics. The audience and the jury were presented with the results of students’ creative thinking from 12 teams. These included ideas such as mobile devices for monitoring air and water quality, systems for producing environmentally friendly bottled water packaging, and other practically useful innovations. All participants were required to strictly follow the structure and rules of project-based work. Notably, the project festival was organized in a format that encouraged collaboration between successful startup founders and school students. The participants not only presented their projects but also received professional, practical advice on how to further develop their ideas. This festival was a partnership that transforms school ideas into real business projects.
