ENU Student Ninel Ablaeva Wins Kazakhstan Powerlifting Championship

Fourth-year student of the Eurasian National University, Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Ninel Ablayeva, won a confident victory at the Kazakhstan Championship in equipped and classic powerlifting among juniors, taking 1st place.

The competition took place in the city of Konaev from April 16 to April 22, 2026, where 305 athletes from 14 regions of the country participated, emphasizing the high level of competition and the significance of the championship.

Ninel demonstrated an outstanding result in powerlifting total, with a combined total of 480 kg:

— squat — 175 kg

— bench press — 112.5 kg

— deadlift — 192.5 kg.

This victory became the 11th in the athlete’s career at the Kazakhstan Championships, confirming her high level of preparation, determination, and professionalism.
