Educational programs

The Foreign Languages Theory and Practice Department trains Bachelors of Education and Masters of Pedagogical Sciences in the following study programs:

6B01719/6B01721 - Foreign language: two foreign languages:

• B018 - Training of Foreign Language Teachers
• 4 years of study(Bachelor of Education)
• English as first foreign language

7M01719 - Foreign language: two foreign languages:

• M019 - Training of Foreign Language Teachers
• 2 years of study(M.A.)
• English as first foreign language

The objective of the Bachelor’s degree study program: Training of teachers with relevant theoretical knowledge and practical skills in teaching foreign languages, capable of applying modern educational technologies in the organization of the educational process and competitive in the domestic and foreign labor market.

The objective of the M.A. degree study program: Training of highly qualified competitive masters of pedagogical sciences, capable of research and teaching activities in the system of education, with fundamental and applied knowledge in the field of foreign language teaching methods, possessing professional skills and techniques in foreign language teaching.

Since 2023, the department has two double-degree education programs developed with a partner university – Osh State University of Kyrgyzstan:

B.A. program:

• Pedagogical direction. "6B01721 - Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages".
• 4 years of study(first 2 years in OshSU, second two years in ENU). The graduate receives two diplomas.

M.A. program:

• Pedagogical direction. "7M01719 - Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages".
• 2 years of study(first year in OshSU, second year in ENU). The graduate receives two diplomas.

The education programs of the department are accredited by the international agency IAAR until June 2024.
